Therapy Services

Areas of Expertise

People come to therapy for many reasons, but often share a common desire: to feel more grounded, more connected, and more aligned with the life they want to live. I work with individuals and couples navigating emotional challenges, relationship concerns, and important life transitions. Together, we create space to better understand what you're experiencing and develop practical ways to move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and connection.

    • Relationship challenges (communication patterns, conflict, difficulty with intimacy)

    • Attachment wounds

    • Family of Origin concerns (intergenerational trauma, parental wounds)

    • Identity affirmation, development, and exploration

    • Processing identity based stressors (discrimination, racism, prejudice)

    • Managing depression

    • Emotional regulation

    • Self-esteem

    • Stress management

    • Major life transitions (job loss, career change, parenthood, moving, identity shifts)

    • Work/life balance (job stress, burn out)

    • Managing anxiety (panic attacks, persistent worrying)

    • Coping skills to get unstuck from the cycle of anxiety

    • Understanding your values and goals in life, and creating a plan to live more authentically

Couples Therapy

If you and your partner feel stuck in the same arguments, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward together, couples therapy can help. I work with partners to understand what’s happening beneath the surface and develop healthier ways of communicating, repairing conflict, and strengthening connection.

Individual Therapy

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, uncertain, or stuck in patterns that are hard to change alone. Individual therapy offers a space to better understand what you’re experiencing, develop practical tools for navigating challenges, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, meaningful, and aligned with your values.

Consultation & Speaking

I offer speaking engagements and trainings for organizations and professional audiences on topics related to couples therapy, culturally informed care, and therapist development. I have presented at professional conferences and lead trainings for clinical staff, helping teams deepen their skills and strengthen their work with clients.

There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.

  • The No Surprises Act is part of a legislative package passed in December 2020.  Its primary goal is to ensure patients understand the costs of their healthcare services ahead of time, thereby reducing the likelihood of being surprised by a massive bill from their provider.

As of January 2022, under the "No Surprises Act," health care providers are required to provide patients who do not have insurance and / or who are not using insurance with an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

    • Accordingly, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes all related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

    • If you are not automatically provided with a Good Faith Estimate, ask your health care provider to provide one in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service. You may also ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a care appointment.

    • If your provider becomes aware of additional clinical needs that would presumably change the original estimate, that should be discussed with patients as soon as feasible.

    • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may dispute the the bill.

I provide my clients with a good faith estimate at the start of services to ensure transparency and adequate time for discussion.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call CMS at 1-800-985-3059.

  • If you are interested in scheduling your first appointment or please fill out the contact form or send an email to schedule a free 15-minute consultation call.
